FEATURED PROJECT
In this blog you will follow my journey to improve on a language that I haven't spoken fluently in years. As you can see from the title of this page, viết in việt, which means write in Vietnamese, the Vietnamese language is very complex, consisting of 72 different vowel sounds and 26 consonant sounds. "Viết in việt" initially looks like two of the same words, but at a closer look, the first word, "viết" has an accent going up on the E, which means that the sound goes up. In the second word, "việt", There is a dot under the E, which means that the sound goes low when it is pronounced. As you can see, this language emphasizes precision in pronunciation, which is why I will be spending 1/4 of my year working on pronunciation.
